But he should have been gone
I wasn’t even a fan of Journey until Steve joined. Then I bought every album released with him in the band. I haven’t bought anything with the new singer. Just not the same. I hope his new music provides many hits for him. I just love his voice!
That guy sure had a foolish heart. I hope he doesn't stop believing. Probbaly best that they go their separate ways.
You look great!
My late father met Perry and Journey in an airport lounge in the early 80’s. My sisters and I were aghast that he didn’t ask for an autograph — he didn’t know who they were. He bought them drinks because he thought they weren’t doing too well!

This was the most awkwardly written piece I’ve ever seen published by the NYT.
Never walk back Steve! One of the greatest voices ever! Erik Exner
What a ‘journey’
I can’t be the only person annoyed by the author’s use of “Mr. Perry.”
A real shame. His voice was like no other.
uhm... yeah, i guess you could say that.. right there with phil collins #mofocantsing
Ok so this made me happy today!
