A crafty man-eating tiger on the loose, like the one who has killed 13 people in central India, sounds like something out of Rudyard Kipling. But it’s a real and growing problem in today’s India.https://nyti.ms/2NWCZM8

if you are going to encroach on their territory of course they going to attack and eat you. Jungles are destroyed just to accommodate growing population.

Is 13 human deaths from tigers horrible - in a nation of > 1 BILLION humans, who have encroached on every natural tiger habitat? When more than 22,000 humans die every day, some preventable? There are fewer tigers left alive in total than the # of humans who die every day.

The very problem is the continious deforesting. The Indian tiger is top on the list of predators. When their regular prey is getting scarce, they take an easu one. And become man-eaters. It might dound cruel, but there is no reason to fear for a shortage of mankind. Tigers, yes.
