"The establishment doesn't have the hold that it used to." Minority and female candidates ousting Democratic incumbents in this year's primaries are steering the party onto a sharply liberal path.https://nyti.ms/2MZe1PV

Yes, and this more liberal path will further alienate the millions of voters who rejected the Democratic party in 2016.

Negative. They rejected Clinton - most of the main Democratic voters stayed home because of her. The Liberal wave is coming and there's not a damn thing you can do to stop it.

Not hardly. Most recent polling indicates that 26% of the country identify as liberal while 70% identify as conservative or moderate.pic.twitter.com/wWOirbutNj

Agreed. We shouldn’t ignore reality. Identifying as conservative doesn’t mean we don’t also recognize how devastating Trump is for the party and Country. I think liberals think every conservative is for Trump. I think we just aren’t as vocal about our criticism. #CheckTrump

Most conservatives that vote Liberal are what we label in Canada as "Red Tories". Basically they are the Progressives of the bunch.

The reality is, America has been centre-right for years. It's time for America to shift to the centre.

"sharply liberal"? What does that even mean? If Democrats will once again stand with working people, rather than being cozy with Wall Street, Big Pharma, Big Carbon .... then count me in!!!

No, they're steering them on a more Progressive path. The "liberal" path is Clinton's politics, which is (from a global perspective) a center-right ideology. Progressives are finally making the American Left part of the ideological left. Statistically, it's a winning move.
