Arizona lawmakers cut education budgets. Then teachers got angry. There is a grass-roots uprising taking place in Arizona, and teachers are leading the way.https://nyti.ms/2Q67IYy

Rumor in Tucson schools is that @dougducey is planning to retaliate against the organizers of #RedForEd after election. For now he is playing the "I need to lie, cheat or steal the election to stay in office" game. #ProtectTeachersfromDucey

I always believe the TEACHERS. They work too hard and take too much guff for so low pay that I am surprised anyone is so dedicated to bringing up a functional, intelligent next generation! I'm with TEACHERS!

Just when they think because they got elected, they can do anything they want to any group they want. So they pick teachers who they thought were meek and mild. Man, were they WRONG!

For a sound working education system, see Finland. America, this whole idea of minimising government and outsourcing to private companies is flawed. You end up paying MORE for everything so rich owners or shareholders can get richer. Pay decent taxes and have them with FOR you

Finish schools do not deal with a multilingual population or a high poverty rates. US public schools out perform Finish schools up to 25% poverty rate. The top poverty rate in Finland is 7%. Many US schools have poverty rates of 75-100% with 50% or more nonEnglish speakers.
