How far removed are we from our barbaric past... heart breaking, no child should be left hungry in the land of plenty. This story is disturbing on many levels.

Tasering a hungry child and then justifying it with a racist remark, that's very unbecoming of an Officer of the Law.

if you watch the video you’ll see the officer is black too. not justifying it in any way but how is it racist?

And these are just the stupid ones that get caught. How many thousands more like him are out there? We need state or federal oversight of civilian police departments.

I do not trust the federal government to oversee police. We have the biggest racist bigot squatting in our white house and he has surrounded himself with like minded haters. Wouldn't be safe.

Working an off duty but officially uniformed & sanctioned contract job. Private businesses reach out to the police departments for security and pay the officer's contract pay. Happens all over.
