Calling migration the mother of all problems is the real mother of all problems.

Seehofer (he's actually Home Secretary) is using the lethal weapon of hysteria about immigration to get at Angela Merkel. He doesn't give a rat's arse about keeping the peace or solving problems.

What do you thing is going to happen when you throw open your borders to a massive and sudden wave of immigration. There is a reason why the center-left and Merkel's party have lost support, and the right and far right have gained.

Nobody threw open borders. Germany is part of the EU and that means the borders are open for everyone. And the real problem here in Germany are not the immigrants but the lack of empathy of the right-wing for people running from war and risking their live just to survive.

That is not correct, the Schengen Area was created for CITIZENS of the EU to move across borders without a passport to facilitate the movement of goods and commerce, and labor. Liberal political interpretation caused this mess. FrontexEU should have enforced the external boarder

They should've ENFORCED it? So refugees running for their live from countries, who are in war, die drowning in the sea? Every political decision, that was made, was correct (and moreover it's always easier to say afterwards that there could've been a better outcome).

That provoked anger from everyone with a functioning brain in Germany! I hope the world realises, that he does not speak for the majority of Germans.

Big profits? Compared to the outlay of capital to house, feed, investigate and jail them? Dubious.

Suggesting that the massive influx of immigrants into Germany hasn’t cost the country money is absolutely ridiculous.
