BS. Distraction. VOTE! Keep your eyes on the elections and Kavanaugh. This little "save face" from republicans is BS. They have known Trump was unstable before elections. #Focus

What the anonymous writer & his/her cohorts are doing is to benefit their own agenda, not the country’s.They allow Helinski, attacks on FBI,DOJ & allies, Flint & PR all to happen so they can retain power to cut taxes for rich, eliminate regulation & add conservative judges.

The senior official who wrote the article is a coward. If he knows that Trump is a danger to democracy then the official needs to reveal himself. It doesn't help for him to remain anonymous.

"there were early whispers within the cabinet of invoking the 25th Amendment...But no one wanted to precipitate a constitutional crisis. So we will do what we can to steer the administration in the right direction until... it’s over." 😕Isn't this it's own constitutional crisis?

Please ask either the most senior or erudite members of your staff: Seriously, have you *ever* experienced anything like the past two years in America? Ask the hyperbole-adverse, ask the librarians. I’m begging for perspective.

Q: Why did you refuse to publish advance warnings about Trump's pathology & its dangerous but predictable consequences? If you did that, then perhaps you wouldn't have to resort to printing cowardly pseudo-heroic op-eds like this. And perhaps you could've helped save the USA.

How many people were involved in making the decision to publish the essay? How difficult was it to reach a decision and was it unanimous? Was it a process of examining why to or why not to publish the essay?
