The reality is that if this Trumpworld official really believed that Trump was compromised and incapable of doing the job, the 25A would not only be under discussion in early days of Admin, but every day since. He hasn't gotten any better. It's gotten worse.

By refusing to take the 25A route, they're enabling a far greater constitutional crisis due to the complete incapability of the GOP to do their job in Congress as oversight and limit the damage Trump is doing. They're doing the opposite since the goal is shared.
