I actually feel my opinion weighs a little heavier than others concerning this because this is how I was conceived; I was distraught at first, for maybe 2-3 days, but then I became proud of it. My parents, my father, never once made me doubt I was loved.

Especially knowing the pain and troubles they went through to have me. I say. take your brother and your father and have a sitdown together.

Your parents are the people who love you, feed you and guide you in life. Unless medically necessary, why burden your brother with info. that is clearly weighing heavy on your heart?

I say reverse the situation, if you would want to know it is likely your brother would as well. How would you feel if he withheld this info from you?

He should tell his parents, give them a chance to be open and honest about it. If they fail to do so, than of course he should tell his brother. They should have been open and honest about it from the first questions the boys had, but back then it was believed best not to tell.

No unless there is some medical need for this information to come out. Otherwise you may end up causing a problem unnecessarily.

He shouldn't. In his family's interest. Because what good this information will bring to his innocent brother? And if he is informed, then what could he do about it? Nothing. So why cause this mental disturbance?
