In an early morning tweet, President Trump lamented current libel laws, asking "Isn’t it a shame that someone can write an article or book, totally make up stories and form a picture of a person that is literally the exact opposite of the fact?"https://nyti.ms/2MMZJlg

🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂 Someone said something (that seems completely plausible) about #trump. Throw him in prison. That's what AMERICA was founded on! Pretty sure... let me reread the first amendment. 😂😂😂😂

Yeah, trumps dumb, he's a multi billionaire, business man, who has set the country on fire with jobs and prosperity beyond even the most hardened hatefilled liberal's wildest dreams. Stand up for YOUR President and the flag #MAGA

I’m sorry, what is this all about people making up stories? I am not up to speed on current events because I am still waiting for Trump’s investigators to return from Hawaii and report on Obama’s birth certificate.

Isn’t it a shame that a person can be elected to the highest office in the land, who constantly lies, bullies and is exactly who and what he is? A pathological liar, a bully and not worthy of the highest office in the land.

Truth is a defense to libel. So once again he tweets something nonsensical.

He’s probably referring to that book, The Art of the Deal” that paints a picture of a man who is successful and smart. It’s a totally made up story that forms a picture of a person exactly the opposite of fact.
