So much money although, don’t forget Rio held the Olympic Games 2006 and Panamerican Games in 2007, almost 30 BI $US just evaporated in corruption and VIP events.

What an incredible loss, not only now but for generations to come. Governments that don’t invest in education are doomed. I feel so bad for the people of Brazil, what a corrupt leadership they have.

Not true, after World Cup, many stadium are so damaged and useless, specially Mane Garrincha Stadium in Brasilia which 1 BI R$ cost had never been used because the local soccer is not a real thing.

They knew it was "bound" to happen. But instead, they spent their dwindling resources on a soccer stadium years ago. Where are the job creators? Whose going to look after the old folks?
