Important always to remember: Leaks about Mueller investigation are never coming from Mueller. So the question to ask is: Why is Trump Team leaking this - and why now?

First it says "two people briefed on it said on Tuesday." Then it adds some separate assertions and attributes them to the letter. So did you personally review the letter, or are we still hearing from Trump's attorneys?

That's that BS! Someone else will be answering those questions and Mueller will never get the truth from Trump. If Mueller was told by Trump's lawyers he cannot be truthful and would perjure himself then why would he believe Trump would be truthful answering questions on paper?

Trump gets to funnel his answers through lawyers, because he’s not smart enough to avoid offering incriminating testimony by mistake.

Piece of cake. The man graduated from the Wharton school with a fifth grader's vocabulary level. I'm pretty sure he'll answer all questions with this: MAGA.

I mean, if Woodward's sources are correct, even responses crafted by attorneys could end in perjury given he lies to his lawyers. The question is, does Mueller already have evidence to prove certain questions either end in a lie or admission of a crime.
