Forget about Kavanaugh for a moment and ask one fundamental question: Has Donald Trump appointed a single human being in the last two years that was honest, had integrity and gave a damn about the American people? Now apply the answer towards this situation.

His opening statement was banal and insulting given the contentious nature of the hearing. It's like he never heard what was said. Amazing shit!

A good speech but missing all those briefs he wants people to read. Suppressed documents is unconstitutional. Also missing his interpretation of executive priveledge superseding law

Cliffsnotes: 1. I love Trump (Read: will rule against anything related to his impeachment) 2. I am hypocritically pro-life (Read: pro-NRA) 3. I believe in pulling up your bootstraps - women/minorities don't need protection (Read: if white man can't get job the country has failed)

If you are really asking, I lost respect when the @GOP held up the President's appointment for a year, blocking the seat. I lost respect when a mobster who is under criminal investigation gets to appoint his own judge. That takes the cake and is the seat of my disgust.

Given the notes he was taking, I expected him to address at least some things. Like the need for time when evidence is presented at the last moment in his court. Otherwise I thought his statement pretty insipid
