In May, BTS became the first K-pop group to reach No. 1 on the Billboard album chart. For the second time in 6 months, the boy band did it again.https://nyti.ms/2NcdmtB

i appreciate the article, but i feel it’s important to note that kpop is not at the top of the charts, bts is. they are an individual unique group who alone earned this. they alone are #1, not all of kpop. also, they achieved this feat in only three months, not six.

also. I feel that lumping bts into the generalization of "kpop" then referring to it as a "fizzy export" is both unfairly homogenizing and does not at all do justice to bts' incredibly unique, thoughtful, and varied music or their extremely personal message.

He expressing his opinion toward the article. I personally think you are the one who make it negative by stating that. Because i see this in a positive light, that ARMY are intelectuals that reads and aware of literature and manage to show insight off of it with manner. Im proud.

I think they mean it as for the 2nd time this half year. If they said "2nd time this year" it'd mean the same. 6 months emphasized it's been a short time, but they didn't mean how long it took them to do it again.
