Roger Federer is out of the U.S. Open after a 4th-round loss to John Millman. It’s his earliest exit from a major tournament since 2015.https://nyti.ms/2MJBJj8

Aussie John Millman pulling off that upset over Roger Federer 😲 Really thought he would lose his nerve in the tiebreakers for the 3rd & 4th set but he held strong. A player who has never been to a QF of ANY major gets his biggest win at almost 30 #USOpen #USOpenTennis #USOpen18

Tennis must be the only sport in the world where the crowds don't support the underdog.

It was the hot and humid weather that led to Roger’s loss, otherwise the game would have been over with straight victory to roger.

An embarassment for #USOpen to have Federer playing at such a late hour... and loose. This tournament has become too commercial.

Not sure that the time of day mattered. Fed is looked after way too much anyhow

You do understand that this is tennis and shouldn't be played at 1.00AM? Federer is an icon, and he's 37-yo, I wouldn't take the trash out at this hour.

Yes i understand that it is tennis. A Sport, part of the Entertainment Industry. The same applies to one and all. Federer is a player on tour, same as the others.

Federer's service game was a little off and me made an unusually large number of double faults. But Milliman deserves a lot of credit for how he played in the two tie-breakers.

Millman very humble. Good for him. My heart is sad for the GOAT.
