That is a great philosophy right up until your religion is used as an excuse to torture anyone.

But when religion violates human rights, the world gets involved. That is why we have the UN. By all means, follow your religion. But if this is your religion I would hope you are advocating for change.

It isn't the place of religion to punish a sinner. Not that I believe it is a sin. It the place of the higher power. Torture can not be allowed under the guise of religion.

Our religion does punish sinners and is a commandment from the Almighty,we all do wrongs but no one is punished when not in our religious custody,God is the most Knowledgeable and I pray for his forgiveness if I am conveying this message wrongly

I think I get the gist of what you are saying. But torture and physical abuse must not be tolerated especially in God's name. That is all I am saying.

Malaysia is an Islamic country and have its own laws. This is unpardonable crime and has to met with severe punishment.

This is only in the state of Trengganu, where an Islamic party has been elected by the people there. Not the rest of the country , where there are many non Muslims. We non muslims do not condone this punishment, neither do we interfere in their Islamic lives.
