“I’ve thought this through and talked to colleagues — and I’ve reconsidered,” David Remnick, the editor of The New Yorker, wrote to his staff. “I’ve changed my mind. There is a better way to do this."https://nyti.ms/2CgPdOu

It's wrong for New Yorker to cancel on Steve Bannon. Agree with him or not, he is worth listening to. I was very much looking forward to the interview or debate between him and David Remnick, two heavy weights in the field. Democracy needs dialogues, not isolation of opposition.

I don’t care to listen to or debate someone who is openly hostile to certain classes of my American countrymen. WWII taught us everything we need to know about what filth Steve Bannon is selling. #NazisNotWelcomeHere

Actually there was an enormous outrage on line. The celebs nailed it but the power was in the peoples hand.

There shouldn’t have to be a public uproar for someone to realize you don’t invite Steve Bannon to anything.

It just blows my mind when a few people can control who is on a program. I am so thankful our President is Strong and did not cave to any of this candy @$$ coercion for the Inauguration. Wimps, look at a Man and see how we still love and stand with him. I Stand With @POTUS 👍

Bannon has nothing to offer the national polemic you can’t also find in the pages of Mein Kampf. Let him spew to the ranks of the easily impressed mindless Neo-Nazi crowds who think he is Hitler incarnate.
