The majority party has free rein to push through Supreme Court nominees with little to no consideration for objections of the minority, @hillhulse writeshttps://nyti.ms/2wCkwho

This is as wrong as when McConnell kept the Senate from even reviewing the nomination of Merrick Garland.

#AnnulTrump and then we will remove both of his Supreme Court appointments. Time to stop playing defense and go on offense. RePugs have tainted our entire Democracy with their cheating and breaking of "norms". Even his appointment was corrupt with Kennedy "urged" to retire.

If it harms liberalism, then it's a good thing. Of course, the NYT had no problem with the process under Obama. This piece is a prime example of why Trump is right; the press is the enemy of Americans.

Remember the McConnell words of warning to Harry Reed about his "so clever and smart" senate rule change? So for Dems its there own decesion that brought this to fruition

Having Trump as the POTUS and being able to control the Supreme Court, shows how dangerous the selection process is. You have an irrational man in charge and now he will control how the laws are interpreted. He wants to be sure the rule in his favor if impeachment comes up.

When someone with a singular party mission like McConnell has no desire whatsoever to have a United States of America rams his interests and scotus candidates through he perpetuates a division that can’t be repaired. It will come home to roost when he is voted out.
