I think second chances are really important, and but it doesn't appear that Louis CK has done the work to warrant one. If you're feeling alone in this view, I'm going to post a few links below this you might find helpful.

Excellent thread from comedian Jenny Yang about how Louis CK could have made amends.https://twitter.com/jennyyangtv/status/1034506640769175552 …

@TheRaDR , on a concept of atonement, repentance, and forgiveness from Judiasm. I found helpful, though I am not Jewish.https://twitter.com/TheRaDR/status/1021630363557355520 … -

Everyone. But more importantly, who sets themselves up to be the judge, jury and/or arbiter for second chances? Is it Aparna Nancherla. If so, who decided that? Did I miss the memo or the vote? Maybe, just maybe we should leave it to each individual or the market place to decide.
-
we could start by making his victims the arbiters.
-
Unlike many others he admitted the accusations were true, apologized & added: "There's nothing about this that I forgive myself for ... Which is nothing compared to the task I left them with." He stopped performing. Now what? Stay away forever? Wear a scarlet letter on his chest?
-
Make some restitution to his victims, work to undo the damage to their careers that he caused. If we're only talking punishment, a year isn't enough. But I think that accountability and restoration are more important, and he hasn't done that either.

More nonsense about how long Louis CK is supposed to wait before resuming his career.

Are there like rules for comedians getting suspended? If they crack a joke while suspended is it still funny? Does their suspension get longer if they are funny while suspended?

He’s a creepy old man with apparent issues. Don’t waste time or money to see this so called comedian.

I think he’s funny

people keep forgetting that he didn't just sexually assault women - he used his professional weight to kill their careers.

If people are still willing to pay to see you perform you get a second chance

Mmkay, then where’s the new OJ Simpson flick then? When’s a new Phil Spector record coming out?
-
Have you seen “The people v. O.J. Simpson”?
