Remember when funerals used to be about mourning and remembering? When did they turn into political rallies?

A strong woman stands up for herself. A stronger woman stands up for everyone else. Remember when we had elected officials who could string words of inspiration together?

Probably no elected officials you agree with. I suspect you like McCain because of his strong dislike of our current president. I’m sure you didn’t support him when he was running against Obama. Let’s cut the BS and be real ok?

If she thinks this is a great America then she is sadly mistaken. For 8 long Obama years we had to suffer through violence towards police, Ferguson burning, millions on food stamps, high unemployment and then to top it off the most corrupt administration ever. Wrong Meghan! MAGApic.twitter.com/YQnsesB2vN

Interesting that there are those who are happy to insult a grieving daughter on the day of her fathers funeral but think it's 'crass' to talk about gun control after a mass shooting at a school because it's 'disrespectful'. Seems respect is selective and only valid when it suits

Those of you that insist on calling Senator McCain's memorial service political, please tell me, who among those who spoke mentioned the name "trump" once? Go ahead, I will wait. Hint - they didn't. It was about McCain and his service to his country, all of it.

Sorry but the hyper politicized performance given at McCain's funeral, which should have been a celebration of his life and their relationship, was turned into political banter and rhetoric to attack political opposition, and it was stomach turning. Is nothing sacred anymore?

Actually, it was a public, nationally televised event for the purpose of a message to the people, as any other eulogy is. The population is allowed an opinion and the first amendment allows me to voice it. ❤ John McCain's life was about more than hatred, but it didn't seem so.

If you didn't like what you heard and saw change the channel. Simple. That was her father's funeral as his daughter she has every right to say what ever she desires. Who are you to question it. You are not his daughter.

I don't need to be his daughter to have an opinion and neither does anyone else. It was gross and it's okay you don't agree, but your acceptance isn't required. 👍
