A Briton who says London Mayor Sadiq Khan isn't doing enough to fight crime is protesting by launching an inflatable showing him in a bikinihttps://nyti.ms/2PsigQD

The crime in London is not the fault of the mayor but the fault of the Tory government underfunding police services. Crime is up not only in London but across the country as police forces have to make do on a shoestring budget. #TorysOut

The people moaning about rises in crime are the people who voted for the party that made the cuts that caused the rises in crime. It's actually mind numbing

And it’s just easier for them to blame minorities than to reflect on the fact they made a bad decision in voting that way and are being conned.

"They do everything they can to silence you". Like authorising your protest outside Parliament and interviewing you on national TV? For a silenced person he's certainly coming acros pretty loudly today.

Why would depicting the mayor in a bikini be insulting?

Because he’s a Muslim. That is their thinking anyway. It’s just right wing racist ***** who hate we have a Muslim Mayor and because he allowed the balloon of Trump. He laughed at this balloon, I doubt Trump laughed at his balloon.

Oh please. He has been attacked from the day he stood for mayor because of his religion. He is blamed for the rise in violent crime when it is central gov that has slashed police numbers and budgets country wide. Boris and the Tories cut budgets for youth clubs and youth services

        2. but yeah blame him rather than the people who actually have control of the money. He is an easy target and takes far more flak than Boris ever did when Boris. I'm not a big Khan fan but the abuse he gets isn't justified and you are blind if you can't see the racial undertones

It's cute, in a funky sort of way. I don't see why it would offend the mayor.

Spending £56k on a local youth centre probably would have done more to fight crime than flying a balloon 🎈

Khan (evidently a much bigger man than @realDonaldTrump) has acknowledged and joked about the balloon, hasn't sought to stop them flying it, and will move on without giving this a second thought. Nice balloon, world goes on... trump's was still funnier...
