Massachusetts has never sent a black person to the House of Representatives. Ayanna Pressley wants to change that, and more.https://nyti.ms/2PUO9m1

Wow, that's interesting for a state that has had a black governor and a black U.S. Senator.

Identity politics is so poisonous. Is she qualified? Is her campaign focusing on real issues? Doubt it, racism and anti-Trumpism are all you need to be elected as a Democrat these days. The (R)s talk about the issues to get elected, the (D)s talk about their skin color.

She's not talking about Trump, she's trying to change things that have been going on in Boston for a long time. And going against a fellow Democrat that actually is anti Trump. Read the article, stop being part of the problem.

I think you need to actually read the article. They drove the point home that she was a black woman running against and old white man. Both democrat candidates even publicly stated that they would likely vote the same, so how is she different? Oh, she’s black and a female.

And an outsider. Boston needs change. "They", being the person that wrote the article is pushing that narrative. You'll be alright.

An outsider that acts the same as the insider is not change at all. The entirety of the left wing is pushing that narrative and it’s poisonous. The left places skin color as the most important characteristic of an individual. That mindset has damaging implications on our youth.

how exactly does the color of ones skin matter when the best person for the job should get it... if she's the best candidate, she should win and I hope she does...

If she's the most qualified....Sure....If not..send who is...This should not be about race but about representing and qualifications.

Riiiiight, because that's metric used in America.....except it's not. There's been an imbalance of power in this country. You and I both know it.

Yes I mam aware thst there is an imbalance...but yet again i say it should be based on qualifications and not wanting to balance or by race..

Remember when the media and liberals would say it's not about the color of a person's skin but the depth of thier character. It was total BS then and this headline proves it
