This is Mohammed al-Bardan. To his patients in Syria, he’s a doctor who provides desperately needed medical care during a brutal civil war. To the Assad regime, he’s an enemy of the state. https://nyti.ms/2PkfQDM pic.twitter.com/hrqw5QqtCD

“We were about 26 doctors in a public hospital, Tafas Hospital. The hospital was targeted by airstrikes. Missiles were falling on it. You can see how easily people get killed. Not one or 2. But 10, 15, 20, 25, 30…” Dr. Mohammed al-Bardan said https://nyti.ms/2osqf50 pic.twitter.com/xUFIXsXsaN

After the airstrikes, only 3 doctors remained at Mohammed’s hospital. “It all made me more determined to stay in the country. If you’re meant to live, you’ll live. If you’re meant to die, you’ll die.” Watch the full video:https://nyti.ms/2osblM1

Yes Assad is not Angela Merkel... But what alternate does US have for Syria. Learn from Libya, the situation have been worse since the removal of Gaddafi.

Other doctors work in Syria without choosing to practise in areas controlled by ISIS or Al Qaeda. @nytimes not interested in them.

US terrorist regime funding and arming ISIS and Akqeada "rebels" to frame Asaad. What about Yemen where Saudi planted puppet dictatorships dropping US made bomb with US guidance
