Shuafat refugee camp in Israeli occupied East Jerusalem. After 51 years of Israeli rule, ~40 % of Palestinian population in East Jerusalem lack running water. According to Trump administration, Israel must get whole East Jerusalem where 340 000 Palestinians live. (1)pic.twitter.com/Ab5dXoyhDX

It has been claimed (see @YousefMunayyer for example for details) that @POTUS attack on @UNRWA is result of refusal of Palestinians & world community to accept his declaration of Jerusalem as solely capital of only Israel (Trump said he had 'taken Jerusalem off the table').(3)pic.twitter.com/UpJLemFqEB

The photograph above is from the Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp in Damascus, Syria at the height of a 7-year-long siege that ended in late May. The 1957 founded camp, home to over 160 000 people in 2011, is ruined and almost totally empty of people.pic.twitter.com/Hj7IkybPFX

Burj al-Barajneh Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon. The highest number of Palestinian refugees Israel has ever been ready to accept is 18 000. Immigration to Israel per year based on Jewish Right of Return (1 Jewish grandparent needed) in this decade has been up to 52 000.pic.twitter.com/BV7KDUcxB6

Those suffering deserve assistance. The Palestinians need help...never should those in need be abandoned. I’m grateful to the @UN that they provide the needed assistance and sorry my country has taken such action because they are helping.

Trump's plan is to force Palestinians to accept loss of East Jerusalem and half of West Bank with no right of return or compensation for refugees while Israel would continue to rule over half of West Bank that would be nominally 'independent' while siege of Gaza would go on
