Our admissions policies encourage diversity, respect the law, and do not discriminate against anyone. This lawsuit brought by Edward Blum and SFFA could eliminate the freedom of every college to provide the best education possible.https://admissionscase.harvard.edu/key-points

You may have posted the wrong link here, because this one says “an applicant’s race can be considered as one of an array of factors in assessing the entirety of a student’s application,” which is almost the exact definition of racial discrimination. Did you mean to post another?

Legacies flat out prevent qualified candidates from getting in...but no mention of that?

Get rid of that too it’s not binary. Merit should be the end all be all and the family your born into shouldn’t help or hurt. The fact that you can’t just admit this is wrong and racist is what’s troubling and the reason this is allowed to continue

Which part is racist? Asians make up 22% of Harvard’s class and are about 5.6% of the population. Are you redefining racism?

If this was black ppl being discriminated based on merit you would not be bringing up percentages

You don’t seem to understand Harvard’s desire to produce the best & brightest —or the tons of studies that prove diverse student bodies increase the chances of this.

And you can’t seem to understand that penalizing students solely based on what racial box they fall into is wrong there are studies showing that Asians have to get higher scores just to match w black white and Latinos. No diversity is worth that kind of discrimination

And if white legacies were affecting admissions you’d completely ignore that —oh wait, you are.

Again for the third time get rid of legacies. And you clearly feel diversity is worth discrimination and do not want to cede this. And when it come to facts just check percentages of cal tech and Berkeley

Everyone can’t fucking go to Harvard. So Asian-Americans are gonna be the scabs that help this racist administration get rid of affirmative action? It’s so fucking sickening to me ESPECIALLY since African-Americans will be on the shit end of the policies... again.

On top of that, how pathetic is it to tell any race of people that they need to be set apart and spoon-fed because they can't do anything thenselves?
