The disapproval for Andrew Cuomo at a debate watch party in Brooklyn was so loud, and so ready, that the crowd barely seemed to hear some of his wittier rejoinders, @vwang3 writeshttps://nyti.ms/2POk8UZ

They are aware though that while these people may want Nixon to represent them there is NO WAY she would win in the general election. Her heart is in the right place with her policies, but the state does not have the funds to enact her policies.

NY state has an economy among the 20 largest in the world - mostly driven by New York City. We could pay for anything we want, but Cuomo fritters our money away on vanity projects and graft. Maybe you believe we're condemned to repeat this forever, but I think otherwise.

NY State has a large economy, but it also has some of the highest prices so I don't know how far the excess funds can go. I'm not saying Cuomo is amazing, but the state still seems to be doing fine under him and I don't think it's likely Nixon would win General.

It's a lot easier to defeat a newcomer with little to no governing experience then an incumbent who has done an adequate job.

It's pretty basic really, the one who offers the most "free" stuff is always the winner in Democrat circles.

Both were bad and embarrassing, however not sure how anyone could possibly think Cynthia Nixon looked remotely competent and knowledgeable. No mention of NY population exodus, Long Island, or upstate. Was a petty, non-substantive silly debate.
