Mysticism is taking over the internet, from astrology memes to Instagram crystals. Is it all nonsense or a much-needed rejection of a data-driven internet? https://nyti.ms/2PigjX3 pic.twitter.com/OVbtYt1qdv

No it's shit. But then even I look up my horoscope. Hey, Sagitarians, you owe this Gemini some frickin money. 😎😉😶

People are so interested in mysticism because people learned over last 20 years that U.S. and most of world DOES NOT OPERATE in manner we thought. Like interplay between Dark Matter/Energy, light, atomic matter. What we see is only a tiny fraction of what is actually out there.

Embracing mysticism stems from people's inability to (a) distinguish among FACT, OPINION, BELIEF & BIAS; (b) avoid LOGICAL FALLACIES. Even Carl Jung FAILED to define synchronicity, calling it ACAUSAL coincidence, then dragging in alchemy, astrology, etc. http://www.amazon.com/John-Likides/e/B00JJ3B2LA …pic.twitter.com/VJ5Ye1U8a9

I read the Quran. That shit was tuff. Lemme explain. It was like having to listen to Trump tell you how great he is, and then threatening you with a spanking if you deviated from his twelve point scheme to rule the desert. This book raped me. Twice.
