We all, including me, have to keep reminding ourselves not to think or say the word ALL. This scandal has caused people all over the world to view priests as sexual sinners, perverts, etc. I feel sorry for the good ones who wake up every day knowing what's out there.

Catholic priests can become all rape-y. Jesus would not approve. Muslim priests can become all rape-y. Mohammed not only approved, but boasted about it in his Quran. It’s time to stop the denial, and obfuscation, around ‘religious’ priests, and their actual, written religion.

There are two solutions for this issue: 1.) Catholic priests who are guilty of rape, should spend jail time in a federal prison, just as any other rapist. 2.) Celibacy in the Catholic church needs to be abolished. Priests, cardinals etc. should be able to marry.

Blame Paul. 1 Cor 6:1 is where this comes from.

How about life? Those with a special duty of care should be punished with serious consequences, especially when they pretend to be an example for all, just as an incompetent physician is sued for malpractice, not mere inability to help.

I mean if @realDonaldTrump can run the investigation into himself why can’t the Catholic Church? The church is much like the POTUS in the sense that they will do anything at any cost to save their own ass even if it means putting kids in cages or covering up sexual assault.
