France's environment minister quits in frustration: “The planet is becoming a sauna, our natural resources are running out, biodiversity is melting like snow in the sun, and it still isn’t being handled like a priority issue”https://nyti.ms/2PgkrXv

I'm sorry he felt like he had to resign. He seems to have a very clear grasp of what's being called "The Sixth Extinction". We need to boot the reactionary GOP out on Nov 6, then get to work on saving our biosphere; and by extension, our own species.

Sad. Really. The people who want to do something about it have to quit and people who don't want to push anything further never quit.

On government & lobbies! Nicolas Hulot always fought for the environment regardless. If he thinks he can be more useful outside the government, Then I am ok with his decision. He will be much free-er now to say what he needs to say & mobilize people. He is a Very popular figure.

It's gonna be crispy critter time for us all, much sooner than we think. Fossil fuel proponents got a plan for themselves, different from us? Didn't think so.
