The Johnson act which prohibits churches from telling their parishioners who to vote for. They can lose their tax free status by doing so.

Not true. They tried to block it in Congress but it failed so Trump as usual is lying his ass off yet again.

May God have mercy on the Pastors who choose to use the pulpit other than preaching the word.

This is the best argument I can think of regarding why churches should no longer be tax-exempt.

Enough with tax free Churches! If they are political on the sermon, then pay taxes like everyone else.

I just sent the following letter to the Methodist Church, the Catholic Church, the Lutheran Church, and the Southern Baptist Church. If you have contact with other church leadership, or means of amplification (many followers) I urge you to do the same.pic.twitter.com/kjWfdeUNEB

There's a law against that, despite what the Moron in Chief told them, so he's inducing people to commit a crime. Again.

Isn’t that a violation of campaign finance law. All charities, including churches, can lose their charitable exempt status by participating in political campaigns. Preaching Politics instead of preaching Christian doctrine.

Where are the true Pastors that will stand up for what is right? It’s sad and pathetic he’s using “the church” for his own self interest! Growing up in the church I’ve never once heard any of the leaders promoted politics from the pulpit. #Trump needs Acts 2:38 in his life.
