Except they can't. By law, they have to start over on a bilateral deal as the negotiations began on the trilateral NAFTA. This is nothing but naked pressure that will not work. Canada has all the leverage.

Really pathetic: follow and critique the president in this move. Sounds sooo stupid.

As a Canadian, I really hope we don't give in to Trump's bullying and disrespectful tactics. We may be small but that's no reason to push around your neighbour and closest ally. Trump talks about fair deals; fair means both sides benefit. No one likes a bully.

Trump’s only questionable skills are Lies, Threats, Bribery, Blackmail, and Extortion. Trudeau should tell him to fuck off and make a deal with China.

I’ve lived long enough to have shook Richard Nixon’s hand. I would say that’s long enough to have a few opinions. For instance, when it comes to the corruption from the Democrats, I would welcome a new “Woodward and Bernstein.”

Spoken like an open minded liberal. I merely used that as a reference I that was sure you could wrap your brain around. Nothing gets a liberals attention faster than mentioning President Nixon. Thanks for playing.
