So many demonstrative mouths, free from minor mistakes and sin, who glom onto mob reprisal, desperate for the security of polarized thinking. Sleep well, pretties. Nuance will catch your ankle, one day. And the cards will shower over you, their numbers and meaning, inscrutable

Not answering that question ever again. The world is large, and full of accessible information. Educate, harlequin, says the tick tock virtual entity

Something about Harley Quinn I think.

Hey Louis C.K., why don’t you volunteer for a women’s equality organization or hell, donate some cash? How about that BEFORE you hop on stage to find out if you are still beloved? Such poor form.

I’m okay with it. Welcome back! I’ve been patiently waiting. You got this and don’t listen to the haters. You owned it. You apologized. You didn’t put your hands on anyone else. I can forgive.

Then he took out his engorged member, shook it at the crowd, and said, “Don’t cheer me—HE deserves all the credit

Is he the one who jerked off into a plant, or was that the other one? I can't keep track.
-
That was Weinstein I believe. C.K. used to like to show his dick to women that didn't want to see it.
-
Oh, right. Still, the commonality here is "women that didn't want to see it."
-
He also killed careers of women that told him they didn't want to see it and just left the room in disgust. I believe in second chances, but only if a lot of time has passed so the person can reflect on what they did. He is only sorry it hurt his reputation not sorry for the act.
-
Totally agree. Were he not a public figure, he might be in jail.

why does the headline say “accusations” when he admitted to what he did? they’re not accusations. they’re facts.

I am understanding of the need for 'second chances', but giving an ovation to someone BEFORE they even perform is a slap in face to victims in my eyes. It's fine to react to his performance... but this is bad optics all around.
-
There wasn’t a standing ovation... all lies. Also he asked the audience if it’s okay if he is there. Sooo.. it’s not a slap on the face. He acknowledged that he has to ask the audience how they feel. Didn’t just do whatever he wanted.
-
so everyone got the story about the ovation wrong, or was it that not enough of the audience stood for you to count it? I don't really care what the hell he says or does, my observation about slap in face was directed at audience not Louis CK
-
I also love in your scenario that you expect someone IN THE AUDIENCE to stand up (sans microphone) and go "nope, sorry. You can't be here"... and because THAT didn't happen he didn't just 'do what he wanted' (when really, he did just do what he wanted)
