The pope’s vague answer has only heightened public interest, particularly in the core accusation — that he was told about McCarrick’s history of sexual relations with seminarians and did nothing about ithttps://nyti.ms/2PcRT11

I can't understand why the catholic church does not allow priests to get married if they so wish. Celibacy should be an option for those who want to but not compulsory on all. After all we're all human... Until this is addressed we may sadly continue to see these abuses.

"history of sexual relations with seminarians". Listen to yourself. Hear the dehumanization. The majority of religions are about power, and the submission to it. Parents, never teach your children to submit; teach them to question.

What’s he going to “do about” any of it? The vow of chastity is the wellspring of all of this trouble. If that is not going to change, then disciplinary measures are just rearranging the deck furniture on the TITANIC.

Praying for the victims - ALL of them and there have been so many. I have never witnessed so many victims all in the name of religion. When will the Pope get it right? People expect you to do what is holy... what God would do... and yet we are here again...

So the solution is just to sit down and pray for the victims ? How to protect childrens from sexual predators ? This Pope shames and harms Catholicism.

That is exactly why I hate the church. With all my heart. And this gang still has so much power. Incredible. Makes me sad.

Traditionalists & Conservatives inside the Church under Cardinal Burke & others like the SSPX with their websites are creating rumors & problems for Pope Francis whom they consider a liberal. I suggest to calm down & don't let the traditionalists/conservatives manipulate you.

Who should calm down when our children are literally FUCKED by the church. And if this pope doesn’t say sorry clearly, then he agrees. Think twice.
