You may not live longer if you don’t drink. It will just seem longer...

My girlfriends dad told me that the Ukrainian engineers he worked with when he was young would drink a pint of denatured alcohol before work every day.

One a glass a day is good for you the next nothing at all, these so called researchers should make up their minds.
-
What an ignorant response. What do you suppose scientists should do when they discover new evidence that contradicts previous conclusions? Ignore them so you don’t have to be bothered with updates?
-
But they have been contradicting themselves. And what is wrong with asking for a definitive answer because in the near future they will be saying people who drink live longer. You are the ignorant one here it seems.
-
Consensus is made over a very long period of hundreds, maybe thousands of instances of research. We know how to use antibiotics from trial and error over the past century and we're still causing the chance that antibiotics will be useless to kill most bacteria in the next century

How about in relation to alcohol, it has been there for a while.
-
Well I don't know much, it still seems inconclusive in regards to health of drinking. Honestly I've seen plenty of people who drank casually their whole lives and lived way past the average life expectancy. Genetics seem more pressing, some are more susceptible to liver cancer.
-
I was referring to recent scientific studies where at some point they say those who have a drink a day are healthier or live longer then like the story says, not to have any at all is the way to go. I mean this is not the first time this back and forth when it comes to.......
-
..... alcohol has happened. All I and I am sure many people would like to know is which is the correct thing to do about alcohol consumption. Because there are two "scientific" findings that are vying for the number one spot and apparently could mean life or death.

Soy abstemio. El alcohol me sienta mal en pequeñas dosis. Podría vivir en un país musulmán sin ningún problema. Y en una tribu que está en la Edad de Piedra, igual. No bebais mucho. El alcohol no es un buen invento.

Then, next month, we'll get a study concluding that 1 1/3 drinks per day is healthy. It's a cycle.

And, does anyone have a template for a will I can get for free? Two kids. Gotta pass on what I can. And knock off their weekend wines.
