Has our idiotic president @realDonaldTrump commented on the mass shooting yet? Why? cause it was a native white male who did the shooting? Did any of the e-sport players take a knee before the anthem?

"E-sports" is just one way to keep (young) people busy in their free time and not questioning societal issues, like the enormous income unequality. Universities giving out scholarschips to 'talented young gamers' and the prospect of winning money boosts this tactic.

What you said makes literally no sense. By this logic, anything that isn’t a primary source RE: global inequality exists to distract people. What kind of conspiracy is this? You must hate athletic scholarships too, right?

Who said you can't have fun? This is about seeing gaming as profession. Stop trying to ridicule

I'm trying to ridicule because your initial proposition is ridiculous. Why was esports invented? Because people enjoy watching others play, and are willing to pay to see it. Any capitalist can recognize a market niche. To attribute it to an intent to distract young folks is folly

I am tired of hearing about gun control, when many of these video games promote violence, and Hollywood and the television continues to promote violence as a form of entertainment. We shouldn't lose our second amendment right.

So now performance in video games is as important as performance on the playing field. You, too, can be an All Star even if you can't run and catch, even if you have a gut that hangs over your belt. Somehow, that's less than inspiring.
