“#Ohr...has deep understanding of underworld of Russian organized crime...incl. raising concerns about at least 1 oligarch whose name resurfaced amid scrutiny of contacts btwn Trump associates & Russia... Ohr was part of a group of govt officials who revoked visa of Deripaska”

He is the next sacrificial lamb, like @Billbrowder ‘s atty Magnitzsky. Putin silences his critics and anyone getting too close to revealing his corruption. Sound familiar?

Mogilevich bought the GOP. Bankrolled the campaigns. Now Mogilevich owns the GOP in a mob way. And there is only one way out of the mob.

I hear you, but what if he did try to help take down a sitting president by acting as a secret conduit for unverified Russian dirt produced by a political opponent?

Before and after. Ohr was "banned" by the FBI in Nov. 2016, so it was the meetings after the election that appear to provide the secret back channel through OHR to the FBI for Steele's anti-Trump dirt as late as May, 2017 (confirmed by FBI 302 interview reports. )

‘Banned’ meaning what in 2016 Not disagreeing but just found this which suggests he worked for FBI as late as Dec 2017. Trying to understand timeline.http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/12/07/top-doj-official-demoted-amid-probe-contacts-with-trump-dossier-firm.html …

My bad. Reporting says "Steele" was banned in Nov. 2016 as an FBI source. From that point on Steele had to use Ohr to inject his work into the FBI for him. As you point out, Ohr was demoted in December, 2017 but still works at the DOJ to this day.

Ohr investigated and prosecuted the Russian Mafia. Again Trump puts his own corrupt self interest over what is right and good for the American people.
