The whole freaking church have known for centuries and did nothing. This is not new. Finally, a pope is willing to do something and the calls for resignation start. I wonder why? To go back to denials and doing nothing? Shouldn’t all the male clergy and hierarchy resign?

It's long overdue. I don't know if this particular archbishop has an agenda, but somebody in that network of sexual abusers or enablers needs to speak out. I don't know if the Catholic church can survive this ultimately. I hope not.

Didn't Pope Frances replace Pope Benedict as Benedict (Cardinal Ratzinger) was covering up these crimes?

in Argentina, Pope Francis is considered a despicable being. that supports the "k" corruption and the killings of Venezuela and Nicaragua.

If true, how’s this not a criminally punishable offense? A Pope should know that protecting religion at the cost of covering pedophiles is surely not a mandate of God.

Former Cardinal has had a years long feud w/@Pontifex. I’m a victim of @regisuniversity - there’s so much needed to give responsible credibility Let’s celebrate the pope for all he’s done, not a disgruntled ex Cardinal upset over a fmr assignment.
