Sometimes it is more comfortable and relaxing to be awake in the middle of the night, catching up on the days news, and watching irrelevant tv programs. Then going "back" to sleep.

Read at 2am... I never believed larks were smarter. And I never ever wanted to be one. Now that kids are grown I’m very happily working for myself from 11-7.

Reading this at 2:00 am. I've always known my natural sleep/wake cycle is 2:00 am-10:00 am. I used to drive my co-workers crazy when I was all peppy and full of ideas at 3:00 in the afternoon when they were winding down for the day.

It's 3:45 am and about the normal time that I'll be going to sleep. I find this comforting that there is medical evidence to back up my insistence that I can't handle mornings well.
