Finland, Norway, Denmark, Iceland and Sweden regularly rank among the happiest countries in the world. But that doesn't mean everyone who lives there is happy.https://nyti.ms/2PFRYeM

That’s ok. The United States is supposed to rank as the greatest democratic experience in history, but we’re all in the collective gutter with a crook for a president.

Yeah, that’s why expressions such as “you can’t please everyone” and “you can’t make everyone happy” exist. Duh.

Duh. You are ALWAYS going to have people in EVERY society who are not happy. This is earth-shattering news? The US has about 150 million people who won't be "happy" unless they win the next lotto jackpot.

Exactly, because finding ways to feel happy would take it near forever on the part of many people. Even the rich and the poor have problems on both sides of happiness and unhappiness. Sociologist Ven Santiago

I am not a proponent of high stress education but I am a proponent of quality education and requiring students to succeed. I am also in favor of helping students into vocational education. We threw that out a few years ago and the results have not been good. Provide options.
