This was idiotic as Chicago has much bigger problems. But how can anyone excuse the people that are stealing? That lack of accountability in this country is astounding. Guess what you park that on my street I am not robbing it. Not complicated

Leave a truckload of shoes next to the cop parking lot. I’m guessing the result would be similar.

The GOP parked a bait truck -- the tax cuts -- ostensibly so businesses would do the right thing and hire more workers and raise wages . . . Businesses instead took the bait -- hey, free stuff -- and began stock buy backs . . . Equivalence . . ?

Jesus Christ, man... a truckload of Nike’s left out in the open would turn a flock of nuns into Five-Finger Willy.

Entrapment scenario arises when law enforcement officers use coercion and other overbearing tactics to induce someone to commit a crime.

Law enforcement is not allowed to induce a person to commit a crime. That would be entrapment, and in the US it is illegal.

It is now, but if this case gets to the Supreme Court, I have little hope.

Issue is that there are enough unsolved crimes already... why go out of the way to make more crimes?

Yes, really. Did they catch any wanted suspects or just entice a bunch of kids into a criminal record? What was the point? Surely they could use their resources to investigate crimes that have already happened, rather than help create new ones.
