What wasn't addressed in this article, is how Disney will pay for the pay increases? Will it decrease the number of workers? Will it increase their already astronomical ticket prices? They certainly won't accept a decrease in their profits.

And thats the problem. Opponents of wage increases get mad at workers for wanting more instead of at the executives that hoard all the money to themselves.

I am all for hard workers getting all they can, especially from huge corporations. Personally, I'm not mad at them. But, my questions remain unanswered. You know a decrease in profits is not going to be acceptable to their shareholders. So, will they jack prices or cut jobs?

Quit being such a greedy s o b. My small business pays full time and part time employees way more that 10 an hour. And I’m in S.DAK!

So, what part of the questions I posed make me a "greedy s o b?" Are you incapable of intellectual discourse? I think you have already answered that question.

Sorry Larry, you’re right. I was feeling particularly cranky when I read your comment. I stand corrected. I’m angry at Disney not you.

Why? When Disney makes enormous profits and can certainly afford to not exploit their workers by paying them so little.

So you're telling me that Disney, a company worth 113.1 billion dollars won't be able to raise their minimum wage till 2021? What a joke.
