The trade-off is going to be that anyone who decides to run in the Democratic primary is going to have to be a member of the party. Bernie supporters won the battle, but they'll lose the war here.

Still not nominating Bernie Sanders. We’ve had enough of his destruction.

If the GOP had superdelegates, there would be no Trump. Be careful what you wish for.
-
If the DNC didn't have superdelegates, we'd have President Sanders right now
-
That's not true. It's a Bernie Bro talking point, but it's false. HRC trounced him in the south. She had more than enough delegates, nevermind the supers.
-
without the constant false narrative that she had already won due to her superdelegate lead, Hillary's campaign would have fallen apart.
-
Easy to be a prophet in hindsight, but that's all it is. Bernie virtually ignored the south. She didn't. She won.

I'm sure your Canadian insight on US politics is truly amazing; you really have your finger on the pulse of the nation

Anything and everything that takes voting power out of the hands of voters needs to be done away with. Including the electoral college. Who failed to do their constitutional duty , which put a complete imbecile and traitor in the White House.

Good. But let's get behind ONE individual to knock the GOP out of the House first.

A Democrat. Not an independent. Perez is betraying women.
-
So called "Independents" and self-described "Democrats" need to do some soul searching: Are people willing to unite to defeat the GOP and Trump, or is it actually worth two plus MORE years of this? There is long term damage being done to the environment, economy and families.

What needs to be done is to have uniformity in how primaries are organized. Having caucuses in some states and actual voting primaries in others, distorts the process.
-
Why? Because caucuses are time-consuming events, usually held during an evening. People with kids or two jobs or other demands on their time, cannot attend. Caucuses are discriminatory. All primaries should be voting elections.
-
Most of the primaries that Sanders won were caucuses - where many of the attendees were college students who had time to attend. Of the primaries that required going to the voting booth - with larger numbers of voters - Clinton won most of those.
