Why would anyone criticize the DNC fir reporting an attempted hack whether it was a test or not? A test is to ensure one is ready. You sound very foolish if you are mocking this.

The only person who looks foolish is the person defending a fake news report that drove news coverage last night for millions of people.

It's not fake news. It was a misunderstanding, theres a difference. Stop using anti-media rhetoric, the free press is a major part of our democracy and legitimizing Trump's attacks on it is dangerous. The DNC believed it was an attack and journalists reported on it appropriately.

This is a test, this is only a test. If this had been an actual Russian attack your government would have done nothing to stop it.

The first reports laid blame squarely on Russia. The public swallowed hook, line & sinker. New sanction were probably being drafted to punish Russia, again! Now this revealation. Not Russia at all. How much of the previous ones were really Russia then? Fake news about fake news!

Not before laying blame falsely, for the false alarm. Fine that it was just a stress test. But what was the basis for blaming Russia then? And if this was false, are the other intances false too? Legitimate concern. Can’t be simply brushed aside.
