Can the president be impeached with the currently know facts from the Michael Cohen and Paul Manafort cases? And does the fact that the crimes were committed before Trump was president matter? We answer your questions:https://nyti.ms/2PGpIbK

If Cohen or Manafort are pardoned, can they no longer invoke 5th Amendment protection? If so, can they be compelled to testify in other courts or Congress?

Yes. They lose all fifth amendment protections for pardoned crimes. An order of compulsion could force them to testify or be jailed for contempt.

What recourse do the American people have at this point, given the unwillingness of the GOP leadership to impeach or remove the president?

What happens if the Supreme Court nominee is pushed through and more emerges/the President is impeached with what we currently know? Does that change the legitimacy of the confirmation?

If a president is impeached due to illegally influencing an election, why is their VP able to become president? Didn't it influence the entire campaign? What would stop others from using this model when maybe the VP is really their top choice? Should there be a new election?

The GOP makes much of the fact that none of these charges have to do with Russian meddling in the election. A) Does Mueller's mandate cover things uncovered by but not linked to the Russia investigation, or does the word "directly" in b-ii exclude that?pic.twitter.com/rE4URhrIFa

        D) How long wold you expect a special counsel investigation of this size to take? E(and here's the whammy) Is there any reason to assume the arguments that "this is a witch hunt" or "this has gone on too long" are being made in good faith by the GOP?
