At best, the EPA's newest rollback could help a small number of endangered coal plants stave off retirement for a bit longer, albeit at the expense of increased air pollution, @bradplumer writeshttps://nyti.ms/2Prkel4

#WestVirginia - Let's face it, the coal mining days are over. We need to move on. Bringing in #techjobs will increase revenue and put the unemployed to work. #Coal miners are being given plenty of opportunities to re-train in tech for little to no cost.

And at the expense of increased deaths and health problems due to heart and respiratory illnesses. How many people should die or be sickened to save a coal plant?

God forbid we help a "small number of" Americans keep their jobs. Since when does their livelihood have any importance?

Yes all of these rollbacks are not being taken seriously by Corps, who must think & plan in decades-long horizons. Not to mention most of Pruitt’s plans were stopped in court. Hopefully, after yesterday Corps will ignore @POTUS altogether. His days are seriously numbered. Whew!

Consider it time to catch one’s breath. If the air doesn’t kill you methamphetamine or some opioid will.

Also save Americans a ton of money in electric bills and provide a smoother transition to natural gas and still lower co2 emissions.
