        Understood, and thanks for underlining that. I thought that her appearance would bring visibility to LGBTQIA issues and provide a platform for change. OTOH, if it sweeps those rights issues aside, then I understand the apology. Obviously it’s complicated.

        The Muslim population in Singapore is less than 15% of its population and that laws stems from the penal code imposed by Britain when they controlled the island.
