The United States doesn't seem reluctant to provoke China's ire. President Trump has imposed heavy tariffs on its goods, touching off a trade war, And now Taiwan's president just made two stopovers in the U.S., another source of fury for the Chinese.https://nyti.ms/2nPQulp

China must learn that Taiwan is no longer a part of China. Btw Tibet is also not a part of China. I think the US is the only country able to teach that to the Chinese

Correction. The citizens of the United States would prefer that the government would negotiate with China because we know how badly things can get if China truly becomes an adversary!

I have started a petition to remove the word ‘News’ from the FOX News title. We must DEMAND new legislation that requires FOX and all cable news be held to high standards and required to report unbiased truth. #resist #resistancehttps://www.change.org/p/federal-communications-commission-remove-the-word-news-from-the-fox-news-title?recruiter=895027353&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=share_for_starters_page&utm_term=Search%3ESAP%3EUS%3ENonBrand-Tier%201%3EDiscovery%3EBMM …

About time the US started behaving consistently with our self professed status as leader of the free world. How can we, in good conscience, permit—by siding with an #illegitimate #authoritarian #regime—the unrestricted bullying of a fully democratic, de facto #sovereign state?

Let them be furious. If you speak against the government in Taiwan, you don't get disappeared and your organs harvested. China is no friend of freedom and no friend of the US.

With 64 million empty apartments, 100% debt against GDP and a very aggressive population, the Commies have to produce growth and maintain political strength. They are riding a tiger that can eat them at any time.

China is no joke - the power is there. But first there must be a collapse, and reform - otherwise stagnation. SE Asia different issue. All emerging economies will be mashed - huge US denominated debt - poor productivity & weak management. Tough times for a decade or two.

As the cities empty out hmm... I think they should put a giant tarp over that stack of 200,000 bicycles I saw pictures of the other day! I don't see china making it... solely coz they never made friends. Historically too much like the Spanish in terms of take-take-take.

They have been the richest and most advanced country before. And will be again. But in the meantime they will need to reform - otherwise they won't develop capital markets. And the necessary reform won't come about until the centrally planned economic model collapses.
