In @nytopinion, Op-Ed contributor Kathleen Sprows Cummings writes, "My once-polite requests for incremental reform [in the Catholic Church] have morphed overnight into demands that church leaders voluntarily relinquish their place at the head table."https://nyti.ms/2BkXOiB

End mandatory celibacy and include women in priesthood, as a starting point.

The Catholic Church no longer has a shred of moral authority over anyone, except perhaps serial killers. They've already proven that they condone and harbor pedophiles. This Catholic is done.

We want all US bishops to resign and re-apply. We want all records released. We want all purv names public. We want all dioceses to jointly report to lay-led boards and the Vatican. We want seminaries cleaned up. We want vows followed to the letter and spirit. No more filth.

How about the reformation of racist NYTimes and some of the unabashedly racist stuff they hire? There is no gradual reform from #CancelWhitePeople Luckily, media like you is relinquishing your sit at the table, though not voluntarily. #itsOkToBeWhiteAndAngry

I went to a catholic school. Nuns. I didn't learn kindness nor empathy from any of them. When I had a son, I chose a non religious school. Why put your children in the care of Priests? They aren't holly men. They are just men wearing funny clothes. Too many men, are predators

3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again John 3 Many of the ppl in the Catholic Church have never been born again of the Holy Spirit n merely following a religion, they are still enslaved to sin, need to be set free.

Maybe if like other realistic religions, Catholics pushed for priests to be allowed to marry (early, church, marriage was allowedl, married converts are now) I believe one would see rapid change, rather than a haven for wrong doers. Would lead to better relations & understanding.

If it were me I would rip the pacifier of organized religion out of the mouths of every one so afflicted. Time to let go of childish things. There can be a God without the interference of man. These institutions are GARBAGE to the last, warped by eons of that interference.

        A. Well organized cover up from the top down. B. There's WAY more than 300 victims. 2 of those named in PA were my parish priests, one was a Monsignor.
