Footage of a white man being taken down by police in a Florida airport, as he yelled about being treated like a "black person," became a twisted commentary on the treatment of black people by the police.https://nyti.ms/2PlHdxS

How I wish he was treated like a black person because right now they'd be planning his burial and we would have one less racist in Orlando

He’s alive so I’m not sure the treatment reflected the race.

If he was really treated like a black person by the police like he says he is, I don't think he'd be alive by now ☕️

I don't think saying "you are treating me like a black person" makes him racist. What if he said feeling Blk/people are actually treated bad. Who knows what he feels. Although police brutality against anyone is not justified but Blk/people suffer the most. It is undeniable.

I think he's just aware of his white privilege , we don't know if he's a racist, he did say "black person" and not n-word. A blatant racist would have said the latter.

I don't think calling someone Blk or N-word is any sign of how racist a person is. For ex: some racist boss would treat you very nicely at a job In/view, ask good questions and even walk you to the door. A success. But you get an email saying - not fit/chose another candidate.

This guy lost control and acted like a total ass (and inexplicably brought race into the situation) when he was late for a flight. Not exactly the cool, steady judgment that's necessary for addressing complex medical issues. Take some personal responsibility, doctor.

That guy is Pathetic. Everyone seems to say when watching videos of people getting arrested - all you had to do was listen and do what you were told. That was not police brutality. That was an idiot being an idiot, &then telling the truth about the differences in arrests by race.

Yup I didnt think it was police brutality either and I've seen some shit where I'm from. This was just another dummy being a dummy, but yup his comparison is on point to colored people in general had he been black the outcome could have been very different.

Agreed, stop resisting people. He would have been taken down if he cooperated. Why was he being arrested?

He was probably causing a commotion and the cameras didnt catch it, either way this guy proves either white privilege or our officers need better training ! Because easily if the officers were scared and he was black I bet the caption would say "black suspect killed at Airport"

Yup, the NYT forced the cops to arrest him, forced him to say that & forced a witness to video it. 🙄

What would make him think saying he isn't black is a valid reason to get away from the police other then the narrative that NYT and other media like it pushes? No one who actually looks at things objectively thinks this, only people who fall for left-wing media.

"his racism"? The NYT and other media leads people to believe that "white privilege" exists and that police only target black people, this entire lie was proven false when they arrested him. That is what happens when media convinces people of things that aren't true.
