In Opinion Op-ed columnist Roger Cohen writes, “Is journalism remotely adequate to describe the moral decay and mind-bending corruption, material and spiritual, of the Trump administration?”https://nyti.ms/2Blk6AB

Journalism? Lol. The NYT along with every other msm publication have become leftist rags where partisans go to vent about a successful R potus undoing all of Bo’s garbage policies. “Moral failings.” Lol. But the Clintons using a “charity” for their pay to play schemes is moral?

Sometimes I think that the media approaches these endless stories with their own survival in mind, reporting over and over every bit of drama, instead of being more strategic and mindful. So, it's like a feeding frenzy.

Whether for or against Trump, Journalism and all media have benefitted greatly from the Trump era, have kept it alive and even helped to create the monster who feeds it. It's no use crying 'poor us' now.

I have been thinking myself the media should not invite reps or panelists who speak in bad faith --- which means most of the Trump admin. and people like Ralph Reed. Lying isn't a point of view - it is just lying.

They could make policies about what defines good faith and number of times before they ban someone but intentional liars like Kellyanne Conway and so many Congresspeople abuse the current format. They must address it - the media helps them spread lies in the current format..

Apparently, journalism has not been adequately ethical enough to admit to the unprecedented mob attack on the President of the United States by most of the media and the damage it is doing to our country.

So does that mean that the press you agree with is the ally of the people whereas the press you don't like becomes the enemy? That position sounds a wee bit familiar doesn't it?🤔 Are you not trying to discredit the Media you disagree with in the same way as Trump?

The 2016 election was the biggest wake up call for media bias. We only have 1 conservative media on tv which is fox and somehow they are the biggest threat to society.pic.twitter.com/mPTgmaqABe

All media and news has a right to report. It is my opinion that both Fox and CNN are fairly biased, but both still do report a lot of truth, so to discredit all media seems absurd. Biased news can still be valuable to people as long as they get a truth out there.

That is a fair position to hold, all media has an inherent bias because people believe what they will, I think this is impossible to get rid of. I agree people should think for themselves more, but I guess I differ in that I think the news still has an important role to play.

🦊 is funded by Saudi so part of the reason I’m not treating it as gospel. In 2016 Comcast was the biggest donor to Hillary that controls the internet, cnn and msnbc. David Rhodes head of cbs is brother of a senior Obama staffer and cbs George Steph is a former Clinton operative
